ABSTRACT

Cementifying fibroma is benign tumor that arises from the periodontal ligament. In this article, a case of cementifying fibroma resected with a marginal mandibulectomy is presented. Surgical defect was repaired with cancellous bone grafts harvested from the iliac bone. The resection and reconstruction techniques were discussed.

ÖZET

Sementifying fibroma periodontal ligamandan derive olan benign bir tümördür. Bu makalede sementifying fibroma tanısı alan ve marjinal mandibulotomi ile kitlesi çıkarılan hasta sunuldu. Oluşan defekt iliak kemikten alınan kansellöz kemik greftlerle onarıldı. Ayrıca bu makalede sementifying fibromalı hastalarda mandibulektomi seçimi ve rekonstrüksiyon özellikleri tartışıldı.
